| Hi! I have been on the forum for a few months, but I don't think I ever introduced myself (shame on me!). I live in Switzerland but I grew up on the Indian subcontinent, hence my love of travelling there! Am heading out to India again this June for a short trip 3 1/2 weeks. My longest trip was in 1991 (3 months) shortly after finishing highschool. I've been back since 1991 on shorter trips. I always travel alone, which, as a woman, is certainly interesting, though I can say I've never had any problems. I have also travelled to other parts of the world, around Europe, North America and East Asia. Happy travelling to everyone here! |

| I am Swiss and Canadian, and I speak 2 languages here, high German which is the official language and Swiss German, which is a dialect of German, the dialect I speak is actually called Bernese, pertaining to the region I live in. I can understand all the other Swiss German dialects and we spend a lot of time making fun of each others accents. You know, small country, small humour. |
