Hello to all India Lovers and Travelers of the World

Salutations from very cold New York City. My name is Sevananda (Jose M. Padilla). I'm Puerto Rican born and raised, living in NYC. I'm a converted hindu since my late teens. I love everything and all things Indian. This winter will be my first trip to India. Although it will be relatively short one I'm very excited and happy about it. I'm also very happy to have come accross IndiaMike.com ... wow ... a whole vast world of seasoned and informed travellers .... what a find!

Hope you're prepared for the reality of it; I've never met anyone who can honestly say they love everything India. Reading the First Time Arrival Experiences thread might be a good idea at some point.

Welcome to the site!
