hello to all from Austria
hello to all from Austria
I`ve been in India 2005/6 for two months and in November I will start my second journey to India. At that time I have seen Goa up to Dharamsala and now it will be Kerala up to Goa within five months, so I think, this will be enough time to travel around in a stressless way. This time it will be just me (solo-travelling woman)and I hope that most of the things will go well.
Normally I travel low budget, but on this journey -on the beginning- I allow myself to stay for one week in an Ayurveda Resort in Kovalam and after this, the "normal" travel handling can start.
As I have read it already in this forum, I think Fort Cochin is a good option for spending Christmastime and maybe also New Year there.
In January a visit to Wayanat in a treehouse would be very good, but this I don`t like to do alone.
Somehow I can`t yet believe it really, but the ticket is bought, so no return is possible. And I am very exciting and happy about this too of course.
To make this decision went very quickly and also to stop working for some time, but it was really necessary..
It is good to have some weeks free before my departure, so there I will have time to ask questions and read a lot in "India Mike".
I hope this introduction was not too long,
many greetings

Hello robinsparrow,
thank you for welcoming here.
I will come to India after the first week in November, Trivandrum.
I won`t be in Delhi, I think. If I would be up to Goa "too fast", the only additional option for me would be Varanasi, where I haven`t been yet. But I think too much planning for India won`t be very useful.
Once you are there, I guess, everything is very, very different...
What are your plans or stations you will stay in India?
many greetings

Hi Akushwaha,
that`s nice, that you would like to catch-up me, but as I wrote in a previous post, I don`t like too much planning for my journey.
Also it puts me under stress.
thanks anyway for your offer

Hello praful reddy,
I have been already in Hampi on my first trip to India and I enjoyed it very much to be there!
Maybe I will come again to Hampi for some days, it would be worth to do it.
Thank you for the suggestion,
greetings Ringella

Ringella, As you may know already, Austrians and Germans chill between November and February in Goa at Palolem Beach's Titanic Bar & Cafe. It is really a place for All Nations, Brits, Russians and even this Aussie who speaks only English and some stumbling Swedish.
