Hi, I'm new here. I'm traveling to India 9 June - 4 July. Doing some sightseeing and visiting friends at IIT Kanpur campus. Never been to India before. I'm getting a little nervous (single female, though traveling w/male companion part of time, rest of time with tour company). Any good advice? Worried a bit about problems with Guijiirs going on right now. Any thoughts on that?

It should blow over well before that, the Gujjar problem.

For now, anyway.

And Kanpur is not close to where the problem is, right now.
