| Hello! I'm New here :D Hello! I'm Cardamom and I'm new to Indiamike. I've been lurking for about 3 months now and I sure have learned a lot from everybody's stories. I figured it was time to register and say hi since I've been spying for so long!! I'm taking my first trip to India end of Jan. I am going on business, but I've alotted some time to do sightseeing and exploring as well. I can finally test out my poor Hindi skills! I'm really excited to say the least. see you on the forums C |

| Hello Chocolat! Hahah no that's not me. At least not yet! Although I did buy a few kurtas in Jackson Heights. I think my poor haggling skills left both the shopkeeper and myself in a tizzy. I'm going to spending the majority of my time in New Delhi. May get to go to Agra if I play my cards right. C |

| Wandering Gypsy | May get to go to Agra?? MAY? You simply cannot go to Delhi and miss out on the Taj! you MUST make it there.. best of luck with your plans! When do you get to Delhi? There are some very helpful Delhiites on board.. lots of info available.. I'm thinking of starting a Saturday course for inexperienced new yorkers called Bargaining 101. First we practice bargaining with the Indians. Then we move on to the tough cookies in Chinatown. You'll be a pro by the time we finish. What say? |
