Hello from Germany!

Hello to everybody from Cologne in the western part of Germany.

Our first trip to India in November 2006 was a positive cultural shock, after some holdidays in vastness landscapes like australia or patagonia in argentina.

We did the "normal" turn though Rajasthan with Delhi and Agra with a car and driver, staying in some realy beautiful Heritage Hotels for 3 weeks.
We liked it very much, so this year there will be a second trip only to Rajasthan. Also 3 weeks, without he southern part to avoid all this roadworks.
This time we will see also Jaisalmer and the Shekawati.

And in March next year, another trip to Uttarakhand (Hardiwar,Rajaji,Mussoorie,Rud raparayag,Almora,Ranikhet,Corb ett) ist aleady fixed for March.

You can visit my website to see some photos. Sorry, but the travelogue is in german only. Impossible for me to translate more than 1.800 pages.

Here is the direkt link to the India-Chapter:

Welcome to IM Ingrid. Wow - you did take a lot of photos! And all very efficiently divided into categories. I now know where to go to look at heritage hotels!
