Hi everyone, came across this site and I am enjoying reading peoples travels and experiences :-) I plan to take a 6 month journey next year, I am an Indian, living overseas currently, heading back to india this december, and looking to begin traveling from january onwards, hence the attraction to indiamike.

Travelling history wise, ive mainly been to Delhi, Shimla, Chandigarh, Dharamsala and a few other places up north, the most south ive been is Goa :-) so I look forward to start my trip heading south down the west coast in January (which will be pleasant) and making my way up the east coast in feb/march and then heading towards the north east in april and finally ending up back north in the mountains in may/june before returning to mumbai.

I guess I will be asking questions after researching more on the forum on places, accomodation and other things.

well done to everyone on keeping such an informative forum going!
