Gay life in India

I am a gay male from the US and will traveling India most of October. Are there any other fellow gay travelers on this site? So far I am going to Delhi, Agra, Varanasi, Jaipur and want to explore more of Rajasthan. If anyone is looking for a travel companion or has advice for the gay traveler - I would be interested to hear more.

Yes, a few who are out and no doubt many more who are not.

Few pointers: Homosexuality is illegal, though a recent court case that applies to Delhi only has ruled that it is not illegal there. Time out Delhi lists gay nights. Rajasthan is packed full of gorgeous looking young slender guys with pretty eyes and pert buttocks (not that I noticed, you understand...) Indian men are openly affectionate with their friends, so don't assume guys who are holding hands are gay!
