Greetings,
I am hoping to visit Bodhgaya in January for the Dalai Lama's teaching. I have only been to India twice, both times I went to Dharamsala. This time, I will be traveling alone and would welcome any advice regarding travel from Dehli to Bodhgaya. Of course, I would like to travel as inexpensively as possible, but my first concern is my safety. I would also appreciate any suggestions regarding lodging in Bodhgaya. Thank you, Elle |

Either you'll catch the train from Delhi to Gaya which is some 15 hrs in it {personally i found it very tiring} or you'll have to go to Varanasi and from there -from Mughal Sarai which is a town outside Varanasi -catch the train to Gaya and then with rickshaw to Bodhgaya.I always do this.It takes 3 hrs to reach Gaya and you will visit Varanasi as well
