Finalized Today

I have been perusing this website now for a couple of months learning all I could about India and would like to thank all who have contributed, especially those in the know for taking the time to answer all manner of questions inane or otherwise.

Today I bought my ticket for a 2 year contract to work in Delhi.
I have never been to India let alone Delhi.
Unfortunately I am leaving my family in the USA but hoping that should the job and space work out, they may join me.

Nervousness, trepidation, excitement, scared and the whole gamut of emotions nary touch upon what I am feeling.

Will be moving to Guragon mid-June, but may have an opportunity to move elsewhere later.

Born in South America, grew up in Europe, lived in the Middle East and have travelled for fun in SE Asia, so kinda know what to expect, not.

So thanks to all and go easy on me if I start asking the stupid questions.
Know how to use "search" and have indeed researched all my questions so far, but things sure seem to change rapidly.

Welcome to IM. Don't worry about the nature of your questions - worry about the inane answers!

Happy travels.

Thank you all for the welcome, I was expecting some direct questioning.

"What place you from?, What you do? and for how much?"
