Dharmabumster Returns To India

I traveled overland to India from England, via Lebanon (3 weeks in prision there unfortuntely) in 1971 to celebrate my 21st birthday in Manali eating the best apples in the world. Had to make a quick departure from India due to the 1971 India/Pakistani conflict that was erupting and the borders were closing, so I could not finish my round-the-world venture. Was able to go finish that trip 25 years later in 1996 by going to Tibet & Nepal for 4 weeks. Now I am returning to Manali, via Sikkim and Leh. Looking forward to the trip, leave tomorrow, 9/24/09 for 6 weeks in India. Peace, Namaste.
