Not sure about the weather situation, but if it's like Delhi, there will be intermittent rains during the day.
As for getting around, at Ajanta, you can hire a palanquin and get her taken around (there are a few steps and ramps that may be a hinderance if she has mobility issues). When I was in Ellora, the tour bus that I was on took us to most of the temples without needing to do much additional walking. The temples are spread out over a wide area here, whereas Ajanta are in a semi-circular location. Cheers Zoltan

Happy to assist - I genuinely hope that you and your mother enjoy your time at both (?) locations.
If you have the opportunity, do go to the Dalautabad fort. It's the most amazing fort I've ever seen in all of India. There is a little bit of walking to be done and this may present a problem for your mother, but if she doesn't mind you going on the last part solo, (which is the more arduous section), then do make the time. Cheers Zoltan |
