HI everyone I haven't been on here for about 4 years. We plan on returning to Agonda next year. We've heard that the Russians have now found Agonda en masse. Last time we were in Goa was 2013 and we spent a few months in Varca and Cavellosum and it was pretty crowded back then with unpleasant/arrogant Russians. I don't fancy returning if this type of tourist have now found their way to Agonda. Can anyone help with this question pleas? I am hoping the large tourist buses can't get over the Agonda

Benalbartim isn't on the coast and is actually quite near to where we were at Varca, which was crowded with rude, obnoxious Russians.

Did you consider Bambolim as an option - small beach, safe water and definitely no Russians. It has a nice winding road through densely forested area for about a km if you want to go upto the highway by that road.
Siridao is another beach easily accessible from Bambolim.
Note - Bambolim may have an issue with stay - as I know only two starred hotels there. (3 years old information)

Bambolim is rather close to Panjim and Dona Paula as well if you want to go there.

Do feel free to ignore the suggestion as I do not know your requirement apart from no russians!

I was in Agonda last Febuary for a week, there were people from all over the place but I did not notice a predominent presence of Russian people.
I found it fairly quiet but I came from Benallium and this was my first visit.
I would certainly go back.
