| Hey Namaste Cat, Thank you so much for sharing the experience of someone you know. I was looking for actual experiences. Thanks. The point of the question was for people to share their experience of that of someone they know who is African descent traveling to India. With this post I was hoping to find people who could share their actual experiences or someone they know of African/Black descent traveling to India. I was less interested in opinion and more in experience. |

Surely they can give you the lowdown if there really is racism. Hope this helps. And being a woman might help. I can only recall seeing a few black travelers in my times to India and they were girls probably from England traveling with other Europeans.
