Advice please - Mumbai and Kerala
My husband and I are travelling to Mumbai and Kerala in the last week of November and first week of December. Any tips, advice on where to go in Kerala would be appreciated. However, I do have a couple of specific questions.
1) What will the weather be like in both places, especially at night. 2) What should I wear (or rather not wear)? I don’t want to offend anyone. What are thoughts on western woman wearing the salmar kameez? Any thoughts and advice would be much appreciated, it will be my first time in India. |

Cochin could be place for you. You can have backwater boat trip, spa, wildlife (Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary), hill station (Munnar) and beaches (Fort Kochi Beach, Cherai Beach). You could cover these places in around 10 days

Re what to wear. I am most comfortable in SK = loose and flattering at the same time while protecting your skin against the sun. I am such convert that I also wear them during the warm months in NYC.

2. In Mumbai, you can wear anything that is not revealing. In Kerala, have your choice of dresses.. Something that would cover your entire body would be acceptable. |

Don't miss these
Fly down to Cochin (Kochi)
1.Travel by road to Munnar Tea estates, Thekkady wild life santuary, Kumarakam Backwaters, Fort Kochi beaches etc. 2. Visit Guruvayoor temple and move on to Trivandrum and further to Kanyakumari if time permit Kerala is a modern state, wear comfortable clothes, Salwaar Kameez is ideal. Excellent weather during Nov, night ~20-24 C
