A research trip gone horribly good
Hello everyone,
I just wanted to introduce myself, I returned from my first trip to India a month ago Delhi, Chandigarh, Agra, and Dharamsala. While the intent of the trip was anthropological (I'm a university student studying anthropology) research in Dharamsala (which was fruitful and "Tibetan" India was amazing) I fell in love with "Indian" India from the moment I landed in Delhi and have been planning my return trip since the moement I returned home to the states. Right now the plan is to learn Hindi, and return for approximatly 5 months next in the fall of 2009. I've been browsing India mike as a way to combat withdrawl symptoms (along with chai every day at 10 and 4) and figured it was about time to jump in. -Nate |
