A New Kid On The Block

Friends, Romans and Countrymen. Lend me thine 'years' Little ole moi, is an ex DJ. who is 'world famous in Scotland..but never heard of anywhere else' and has since hung up his CD's, changed tracks and searching for the 'rhythms of life' I am going away to an unknown country, where I shall have no past and no name, and where I shall be born again with a new face and an untried heart. I therefore wish to travel to places in India, where the hand of man has never set foot! in order to write my 'magnum opus.' A travel poster explains: Come to Puri ( Orissa )it's the best resort for anyone who wants peace and solitude. Millions flock here in search of such quiet.
I have recently discovered the pages of IM and have enjoyed the pearls of wisdom. Although,I never drank from the fountain of knowledge..just gargled. What other qualification does a DJ need? Come to think of it, I did have a BSc....British Swimming Certificate. I do however, have a 'Streetwise" ( Bombay masala mix )knowledge of Hindi, and years of experience in India to my credit..but still learning. Look forward to a bit of verbal sparring accross the airwaves of the universe, learning from you guys and perhaps sharing my experiences. Let the muzak begin!
