1 month in India - first timers

This is our first trip to India
We are a couple with 2 boys 7 and 10 yrs
We are going in April for 1 month
Itinery - arrive Mumbai Apr 2
- Mumbai - Udaipur
- Udaipur - Jaisalmer (camel trek too hot?)
- Jaiselmer - Jaipur (Gangaur Festival 11/12 April)
- Jaipur - Agra (1 night in a nice hotel near the TM) (Second son name is Taj)
- Agra - Dehli
- Dehli fly to either goa (Palolem) or kerala (Hillstations?, Jungle?, Houseboat?) for a holiday with lots of swimming options for the kids
- Mumbai depart back to Sydney

Any suggestions for travel options, hotels, goa versus kerala (distance/cost considerations). It's gonna be hot so we need lots of pools, rivers?, or beach options for the kids.

Much appreciated.

Perhaps the best place for you to start would be our search engine, It'll give you a lot of starter information about your destinations & travelling between them, temperatures, hotels & must sees,,,,,,,,,,

hi there

Hi Simeon,
it is wise to you to fly from Mumbai to Delhi and then Delhi-Agra-Jaipur-Jaisalmer-Udaipur and Then Back to Delhi. Then to Goa or Cochin(Kerala). In jaisalmer there will not be so hot for taking a camel trek or you can take it in Night. There are hotels with tajfacing rooms in Agra. If you are looking for hill stations and jungle you can visit Munnar,Thekkady (Kerala) or you looks for Beaches Goa and Keralam are suitable. You can enjoy Houseboats trip in Aleppy(Kerala). Your Arrival is starting time of the Summer.

wish you a happy journey.

with love
Ms InduBala
