Varanasi - Kathmandu ?

Do you know if Indian Airlines operates right now the flight Varanasi - Kathmandu?
I've checked on the internet and it seems impossible to book any flight

It will be helpful for people to know what sites you checked, so they can offer alternatives.

You'll find some air travel sites in the "travel links" link in my signature that you may want to check; it's not my specialty though. I reckon you may have to look for a connecting flight.

As far as I know, only Indian Airlines operates this route, there is no choice to find this flight in low cost sites, so I went to Indian Airlines site, which do offers this flight, but then, when you are about to book it, appears a text -> "No seats available", it does not matter the day you choose. (I know it only operates 4 days a week !!)

Worse comes to Worst, you can opt to go by Road.

Varanasi to Gorakhpur 212 km in 5 hours by public transport

Gorakhpur to Sunauli (border town in India) 3 hours.

If you take a private car, you can go upto Sunauli in 5 hours. Cross Int'l Border.

Night halt at Border town.

Early morning bus to Kathmandu reaches in eight hours.

Else you can fly from Border-across-Sunauli (Bhairahawa or Bhairawa airstrip) to Kathmandu in a small plane taking 50 mins. Flights every day by three airlines.

If there is a 4 pm flight from Bhairahawa, you can reach KTM the same day from Varanasi.
