Urgent anyone know Sandra Jones ?
I am trying to trace a Sandra Jones who got a flight from London Heathrow to Delhi on Saturday (15/03).
Bit of a long story but she lost her suitcase/bag and I want to reunite her with her bag. The forwarding details for her on the baggage are for the UK so a bit hard to track her easily in India. BA Delhi say to return the case to the airport but it might save her hassle if I just get it send by next day courier to her directly. |

Shere - I think if you don't get an answer within 24 hours then return it to the airport. I guess the airport BA desk has all your contact details now? If she contacts there, they can pass this on or they can let you know etc.

Sorted now. BA were playing silly buggers and the Gurgaon BA call centre staff kept telling me that they could not do anything. The number for BA at IGIA was constantly engaged. I have managed to get through and get it sorted.
A bit peed off that my parents walked away with someone elses suitcase without relising the mistake till they got home. Poor woman probably got no change of clothes. The least they could have done was counted their bags etc before walking away . |

Something similar happened with me while flying BA (they came to my home to deliver my lost baggage after 4 days at 2.30AMng up the whole neighbourhood by pressing almost 4-5 door bells) and their Gurgaon and Airport office are the most unfriendly, and most of the time, un professional lot.
Promised myself never to fly BA and still sticking to it.

BA say they will collect the bag on Wednesday. But if there is anything missing they are going to lodge an FIR for stealing the bag. I said to the BA lady that there was a difference between theft and a genuine mistake. If it was theft we would never even bother trying to return the bag.
Nothing to worry about on our side as the bag is still locked etc. My parents are genuinely sorry for the mistake but this FIR rubbish means if any such problem happens in the future then will need to think twice about what to do next. |
