Turkish airlines???

has anyone flied with Turkish Airlines????I am about to book a flight to Delhi with Turkish Airlines-what about its safety??????

thanks for the Airsafe.com, it frightened me a bit but it seems that each 10 years happen an accident with Turkish Airlines.I consider myself quite lucky though.More opinions?

I have flight with Turkish Airlines several times from and to Turkey and also in domestic flights. Is like any other airlines today. Though never been to India with them.

Flown to/from India with them a few times. They were the cheapest so I flew and I'm still alive! Fly with them? Why not.

Athens-Istanbul-Delhi and return = 435 euros.An excellent price!!!I would say the normal price for this trip

Pantelis -- my husband has just booked a flight to Delhi through southhall travels -- and he is flying by Altalia and it is just 340£.. so try them if you want anythig cheaper.

hello we flight with turkish airlines dublin istambul and mumbai the same way back .when we got to mumbai airport after 2 hour waiting we found out that our bags were left in istambul and they will prabably arrive with the next flight.we have to stay in mumbai longer we lost our flight to goa had to buy new one.that was first time and last i flight with that crowd i lost extra money.i booked my flight 6 weeks before but still at mumbai airport on my way back they sad that they have no seat for me becouse the plane is full,unbelieveble like a joke,in the end of that they lost our bags again on the way back,selling tickets but they dont have enough time to move bags from 1 plane to another

i know they are much improved since this thread was started.

I flew with them once to Delhi. No complaints, Its a four star airline, and a member of the Star Alliance. The food and leg space is better than average. You may check the reviews on www.airlinequality.com

Last year, I flew Turkish from New York to Mumbai via Istanbul, with a 12 hour layover there. Besides the nice day trip to Istanbul, I liked the flight. Food was good, free wine, and good AVOD.

also, Turkish Airlines allowed me to change my flight going back from Mumbai to Istanbul to New York to Mumbai to Istanbul to Chicago due to a blizzard in NYC.

No cost. It was very nice of them to allow me to do this, and that won me over

Also, with the NYC-Istanbul flight, they handed out econ class amenity kit with toothpaste, lip balm etc... a nice touch.
