Toronto to Delhi
Anybody have any recommendations for travelling from Toronto to Delhi, via Dubai if possible. Thinking about travelling end of November. Recommended airline/travel agency and what kind of fares to expect.
When is a good time to book for November? I think that is close to peak season. Don't want it to leave it too late. |

Emirates
I Hope this will help...
For an open jaw ticket Montreal-New York-Dubai-Delhi, Mumbai-Dubai-New York-Montreal, I paid $1375CAN (all taxes included)with Emirates. For tickets, I buy in the Chinatown. You might also look in an Indian community newspaper, there is a lot of travel agency advertising in there. |

Check the free newspaper in the Indian stores. Prices vary with agents and be careful with some of them, you may get an introduction to India with a few of these guys. A decent agent is Gill Travels, price may be a few bucks more but worth the hassle in the end.

I went Toronto-Moscow-Delhi return for $1600 on Aeroflot at Xmas (i.e. highest season). Crummy duty-free (unless you like vodka), but otherwise OK. I've heard that the tickets are about $200 cheaper out of high season.

We flew Toronto-Delhi via Milan. There was only a 3.5 hour stopover on Alitalia. We paid $1400.00 and flew this past January. I flew for about the same price from Montreal to Mumbai in Oct via KLM.
