return - outbound UK from India

namaste.
I'm flying to India from the UK on Friday 23rd October and wasn't planning to return until 19th Jan but now I need to get back for a week at the end of November . I'm wondering whether to buy a flight while I'm still in the UK or to get one when I'm in India, I'll probably be in Goa by November and I'll want to fly to Kerala when I come back.
Any advice gratefully received.

Generally, unless you want to wait until the day before you fly in the hope of getting a last minute bargain, the longer you leave it, the more expensive it gets.

Is the price the same? I think international flights might be more expensive from India?

Flights from Australia are almost always more expensive than from India. UK might be a different story though.

Flights from India to some international destinations might be cheaper ( heck some are throwaway pricing ), but these are from major airports/gateways like BOM/DEL. The OP wants to exit GOA (which is not a major international gateway) and return to TVM, Kerela.

If I were in that situation, I'd go to a consolidator/bucket shop in London.
