Nepal-Jaipur: do I have enough transfer time btw airports?

I apologize if this is a repeat question, but I'm wondering if anyone has experience flying in from Nepal and doing a international/domestic terminal switch in Dehli?

I am scheduled to fly from Nepal to arrive in Dehli at 10:55 a.m. on one airline. I am considering purchasing a ticket from another airline for a flight that leaves at 13:40 for Jaipur on the same day.

I know the two terminals are 15 minutes apart, and that the outgoing airline requires you to get through x-ray at least 40 minutes befor the flight. I do not plan on checking my bags though the weight limit might require it.

With all the steps required, will I make it on-time if I arrive on-time? Will 3 hours be enough?

I am travelling on a Thursday and this is my first time coming to India, so some confusion will probably be occuring!

Your flight arrives at 11 and the other one departs at 1340. You have about 2 1/2 hours, not three.

If your flight from Nepal arrives on time, you are just about ok with time, I think.


You should be out of the international airport in an hour or less. Transfer buses may take some time to leave, dunno if cabs will be easily available between airports. Check in is normally 1hour for domestic flights, though they may accept less.

If your flight is late, however, it gets tight.
