Last year I used Air Italia to fly to Mumbai from Toronto. They had competitive prices.Aeroflot had better prices but you had to spend an awfully long time sitting around the Moscow airport.I don't know if this hold's true for T.O to Delhi or not tho.Try Orbitz.com and see what they can offer.Someone on this site highly recommended an indian travel agency in Toronto called Lovely Travels at 416 921 3000.It's at the corner of Yonge and Charles.Hope this helps.

return will be much cheaper of course, i paid 1280$ return for 6 month ticket. It think 1-way is about 900$ check www.flightcenter.ca or www.tripcentral.ca is okay too. another indian run agency "Travel in Air" specialize in 4 stops cheap tickets to delhi, may be worth checking out.
Another way is to catch a cheap charter from the UK to goa, but i don't know if they start in Nov. or if it's worth it getting to manchester or where ever. one thing to know is that flights will really book up quickly this time of year. |

Lovely Travels is not bad, I see Payless Travel started a few branches lately (905)866-6200. There is a website for them, www.payless2india.com

I was interested in Montreal to Mumbai oneway, beginning of November. After google search the best deal from Montreal to Mumbai one way was to go to NY(JFK) to London and London to Mumbai - all via Air India. From Toronto to NY, LHR (London), Delhi...I would check Air India, I found they were the cheapest oneway fare.....only problem .....you have to go thru immigration / custom NY, USA. I settled for one way Swiss Air, from Montreal, via Zurich, to Mumbai, $1196 all inclusive, (Air Canada planes, flights operated by Swiss Air crew).
