London/India/Thailand multi city ticket question
Hello,
I'm hoping someone might be able to help with a travel question. I plan to visit India this October to stay for aproximately 2.5 months, visit Thailand and then return to London. Does anyone have any suggestions for booking a multi leg trip between London to Dehli Dehli to Thailand (koh Samui) and finally Thailand to London I would like to avoid using London to India as my base and flying roundtrip between India and Thailand. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!! Kind regards. D |

Yes; I'd go speak to some travel agents (or possibly call them up initially) and see what they can do for me.
(I'm not pulling your leg either. That is in fact what I'd do Non-standard stuff like this isn't easy to arrange yourself over the web, I'd much rather speak to someone about it.)

Not many online sites will let you do an itn. as you want it. Having said that; check with Star Alliance if they can do a mini-round trip. If you are not a p***t/FF conscious person. Still paying the bucket shops in London should be worth your while. Check the local newspapers for adv. listings. There always Benz Travel off Oxford Circus.

Thanks for the advice. I booked through a travel agent here for London, Delhi, Bangkok, London. The price was actually not as bad as I thought it would be. Much better than two round trips!

Hi,
I used Southall travel in Middlesex, they were really helpful. The flights are with BA to and from London and Thai air between Delhi and London. The ticket was 760 pounds. Not exactly cheap but a really good price considering r/t from london to thailand was around 800 pounds for the time that I will be traveling. I hope this helps. |

Thanks; I've seen them (positively) mentioned before I think yes. For others, find them online here: http://www.southalltravel.co.uk/ . From the looks of it, they even offer a "specialized quote" online for these sort of non-standard itineraries, btw.
Price sounds good indeed; certainly given your comparison (and certainly given your entire stretch). (Checking: That's 900 Euros! For a trip like this, most reasonable indeed you'd think.) Enjoy! Let us know how you fared later. |
