Jet Star Asia
Have they stoped routes to/from India in the last 12 months??
Can't seem to select any India cities from their website. |

Jet Star Asia (now referred as 'Jet Star') has pulled out from Kolkata and Bangalore due to losses suffered from poor load factor and heavy competition on India-Singapore route. They don't intend to serve India atleast in the near future.

That's a shame. They were considerably cheaper than Singapore Airlines and Srilankan to Singapore (if at a hideous flight time).

Apparently Tiger Airways -- not my fave singaporean budget carrier, but it'll have to do -- is in talks to start flying to India. Including Goa, Chennai, and other parts of South Asia.
For now there's just Air India Express. |
