How long is it between the Delhi international and domestic terminal?

I will be arriving into Delhi international terminal at 0620 on a Sunday morning on 17 Nov (Deepavali public holiday). I am assured it normally takes a couple of hours to get through customs.

I have a conecting flight from the domestic terminal at 1030 (latest flight possible on that day) and need to know how long it will take between the two terminals given that I arrive on a Sunday and a public holiday and also what is the best method of transport and how much this will cost.

You get the bus every 20 odd minutes. Assume another 15 min transit time in bus. Add in swine flu screening, baggage collection etc and you can take 1.5 hours to be comfortable.

Is your luggage through checked?
