Goa Mumbai London for young lady

Greetings,
We are mum dad and 18 year old daughter travelling out to Goa via Munbai together, our daughter will be returning by herself on a day flight with a change of terminal and a six hour wait in Mumbai.
Could you please inform us on how the transfer at Mumbai is carried out and where could our daughter safely wait?
Would she remain air side?.
Thank you

I realise you must be concerned about your daughter making the connection alone, but Indian airports are overstaffed to the point of absurdity, everything in Mumbai airport is signed in English and I've always found the staff at Indian airports to be incredibly helpful.

It might also reassure you to know that due to security restrictions, only people who are actually flying from Mumbai airport in the next few hours are permitted to enter the airport, and wherever she is in the airport she'll be perfectly safe - in fact they're about the safest places in India.

She will have to go from domestic to the international airport wich is not that far. Using either shuttle bus or taxi. Pre-paid is recommended

But i guess that you bought an entire package so it's probably all taken care of

She will stay airside in all probability. No reason for her to exit.

http://www.csia.in/travellers2.asp means she should have enough facilities. There would be a facilitation desk within arrivals. She just has to be careful NOT to walk out the door.

call the CSIA helpline for more specific info
