Question Flights from the UK to Goa/Mumbai

Which,in your opinion, is the cheapest weay to fly from the UK to either Goa direct or via Mumbai? I am aware that you will reply 'Charters' but what about scheduled flights? Via the Middle East, Russia or anywhere else for that matter. Ignore the 'quality' of the airline just the price for a return flight covering up to six months if we stayed in Goa for that length of time.

We Booked tickets from Manchester to Mumbai ,going October coming back April. 480 pounds each with one free change.
I am sure you can get it cheaper but we wanted to book it early.

Thank you Steve and June. What do you mean 'with one free change'?

You can change your coming back date for the return trip without being charged. Handy if you are missing the cold misserable weather back in England.By the way I think we are flying with BMI.
