Flights *from* India

I'm familiar with buying return tickets from the UK to India. I go online, try a variety of sites and pick the best fair with the airline and route that I want. Now I need to go the other way. What are the best sites for buying tickets from India to the UK? Or will a travel agent offer best value?

I'm heading for Cornwall in July 2007. A bit of searching showed that KLM can take me from Mumbai to Bristol which is nice. Avoiding LHR being a welcome bonus. KLM's site offers tickets for two adults and a child for a total of £800-£900 depending on the exact date. Am I likely to beat that price looking elsewhere?

KLM can also take you to Cardiff (CWL) for about the same price as Bristol. From CWL you can get cheap flights to Newquay in Cornwall. Sorry, can't remember the name of the airline but google Cardiff International Airport

Cardiff is another option. However, I'd either hire a car or get a lift from either Airport. I'm off to Cadgwith at the end of the Lizard peninsula, so a flight to Newquay would get me closer, but I suspect no faster, to my destination.

I think the airline 'featherbrain' is referring to is southwest airways.they fly from most regional airports in the U.K. to plymouth and newquay.Hope this helps. As for the quoted fare of £800-£900 I dont think you will beat it.If a connecting flight to Bristol or Cardiff is included than its a bargain.

Instead of buying online, try getting one from a local travel agent. I think they offer better rates.

There are published rates (which you get online ) and then there are unpublished fares - which the consolidators have access to. These tend to be restrictive and non-refundable.
