flight to istanbul
will be travelling to turkey in the summer - wonder if anyone has any info re flights from delhi to istanbul.

Turkish Air and Air India fly this route for sure, maybe some others too. What did you want to know?
I used Tom Brosnahan's TurkeyTravelPlanner site when I went, might be useful to you. It has a very good forum with a board specifically about flights, and Tom Knows All. |

Turkish Airlines
Hi:
Turkish Airlines - www.thy.com - has direct flights from Delhi-Istanbul, and I think they fly 5 times a week, leaving Delhi about 4 am and arriving Istanbul about 9 am. They are a decent airline, I have flown them before a couple of times. I am sure there are other ways to get to Istanbul also, such as on KLM, Alitalia and many other airlines that fly in and out of India. My suggestion would be to 1. Checkout their website for fares 2. Contact travel agents in India for fares on Turkish and other airlines 3. Book early enough because summer travel gets booked fast Cheers |

turkish airlines has direct flights to istanbul from delhi,
and emirates has daily flights to istanbul via dubai also gulf air has some flights to istanbul but i dont know if they are daily |

Was a thread here sometime ago about air arabia that had dirt cheap flights from Istanbul to various destinations in India.
