Do you need a return ticket to enter India?

I've got a one way ticket, will this cause problems.

As far as I know, no. But better call your airline and Indian embassy about it just to make sure.

There is no such requisite (like in Malaysia for example). I presume you are referring this rather than availability of passage.

Foreign tourists not holding return tickets purchased abroad can book their passage tickets for travel out of India.
