Delhi to Kathmandu -what do you suggest?

I did this trip thrice but now perhaps it will be my first time to take the following decision.Usually , rather always i book my airtickets from my country but now i decided to buy the airticket Delhi-Kathmandu as soon as i arrive in Delhi .My problem is that i`ll be traveling to Kathmandu after 15 days of my arrival in Delhi. Is it sure that the flight won`t be booked 15 days in advance????????Will i succeed on finding cheaper prices than my country????.

Please let me know your suggestions -the Indian residents will know more i guess

Thanks

P.S i already found a ticket with return that costs 257 euros but i think there are cheaper ones or not????I had payed from 189 to 220 euros but this time do not know why it raised like this.Any suggestions?

Last year in November my return tickets (Del-KTM-Del) costed me Rs.6,000. For couple of guys who got them booked later it was Rs.6,500.

They were on Indian Airlines, Royal Nepal Airlines also had flights on the route...!!

Delhi Kathmandu is a busy sector and I just inquired and it would be difficult to get the seats for September/October..

they might be available for November/December..

There is a difference in fare for Indians and people of other Nationality....you would have to shell out higher amount..

I would suggest you to call Mr. Anil Aggarwal @ 0-9350709077, he works for a ticketing agency based out of Delhi and might be able to help you out with Indian Airlines and Royal Nepal tickets..

Advice

You must go straight to Royal Nepal or Indian airlines. The concerned airline will sort out any related query.

I flew Jet Airways both ways and both times the flight was full. Are you absolutely certainly certain of the day? If your dates are fairly flexible I wouldn't worry too much, especially as you have a choice of airline.

There are this options that I know of:
Jet Airways - most expensive
Royal Nepal Airlines - in the middle
Jet Lite - cheap
Indian Airways - cheap

I got the ticket one way for 88 EUR. But for details you can check the other discussion on the same topic

Last time I went to Nepal was in year 2002. It was war time at that time, but not too serious. We were checked by solders and so. But I was in very protected area and also now I go to the same place, so I don't worry about that. If you would need I can though ask some people in Nepal to tell me.
