Delhi: time needed for transfer?
Does any of you guys know: if I arrive in Delhi at 4:00 AM and have a connecting flight to Leh at 7:30 AM, is the remaining 3,5 hours a realistic schedule for 'immigrating' into India, getting my luggage and transfering from international terminal to domestic? The Delhi airport site says you have to be 1,5 hours earlier in the domestic terminal and that it takes 1 hour to transfer. Which leaves 1 hour for arrival-formalities. Am I beeing too optimistic? Considering the permanent reconstruction going on in the airport...
And, are the currency exchange offices in the airport open at this time of the day? Thanks. |

Should be OK if your flight arrives on time. The exchange offices are always open, I believe. If not, there's ATMs.
1 hour for domestic check-in and security is usually enough. |
