Cheap flights - UK under 26/student

STA travel have currently got a blue ticket (its their sale-type-thing) avaliable with Jet airways - return London-Delhi for £351 including taxes. You have to be under 26 or a student. Its also avaliable to Mumbai. Think I might have to buy my ticket tonight at that price!

I thought that was 26/- (twenty-six shillings in UK pre-decimal currency)

But is this 351 so cheap? I've been getting to Chennai for just over 400 this year. What is BA's standard website price?

Well to compare it to the other fares around at the moment (for the dates I want anyway) Jet airways through other agents is £431, BA is currently around £481.10, Virgin £439. So its £80+ cheaper than most other current fares.

My 6-month-gap-year budgets mean that £80 less on airfare is very welcome!

have u tried Al-Italia?

Hi there,
I recently got a return flight London to Mumbai for £340 departing in July. This is a standard fare (no student discount) with Al-Italia. You have a two-hour stopover in Milan each way. We got our tickets through The Flight Centre - though the airline's website may help you.
Enjoy India!

I've also just booked return flights, in August, with Lufthansa to Delhi for £311 (including the credit card surcharge and taxes). I've never actually found STA travel to be that cheap in the past. Good luck!
