Cheap Airfare to India?

Today someone told me about a company called IBATA? They sell these international first class and business tickets for cheaper than most companies. Has anyone ever heard of them? Friend bought his ticket to London from them and says that they got everything he needed quickly. I was thinking about buying my next trip from them.

There site is www.Ibatagency.com

They seem to be legit seeing that my friend got his tickets through them. I am just wondering if anyone else has heard or bought from them.

Find out what they quote, and someone here might validate if it is a good deal. Discounted First or Biz class is a different ball-game. Many US carriers have only two classes - Cattle and Front-of-the-plane for most international destinations.

If the price for RT Florida{MIA,MCO} to India {BOM,DEL} is below 3K offseason, I'd say it is a bargain. If you are an elite flyer with the major airline, 2.5K + 100,000 miles is the going combination.

Normally it is helpful when one posts approx dates and duration of trip and preferred airports at origin and destination. It helps others get a sense of the issues.

Remember, sometimes driving to an alternate airport in US saves you a tidy some; and sometimes it does not. It depends on the region or time of the year.

Hey sorry about the late response. Have been on a business trip all weekend. They sent me a quote the next morning saying that "Business class fares are about $999+ tax" depending on when I need to head out. Does not seem that bad. Most likley going to book my ticket through them this week.

They have a list of airlines on the bottom of their site. I have not ordered the ticket yet so I am not sure what airline it goes to. But the customer support is AMAZING. They are so nice and made sure that I got all the information I needed.

Rice please come back and tell us what it turns out to be. I am very interested in this information. Never heard of the company but never looked into Business Class travel either because it is always so much higher than crappy economy. I see they represent a couple of airlines that I can use from where I live in the U.S.

Thanks!

I forgot to mention that the fare was a companion fare. Taking a co-worker with me. Still compared to other airlines I have seen, pretty cheap.

Oh No!!!! That's not a deal.

In fact its a tad too much. My Amex card had promos way back in the mid 90s for international flights where it was companion flies free on a paid Business Class.

Air India,American Airlines,Delta and other that I do not know of, all have promos too.
