any cheap flights from bangkok

Does any one know where to find the cheapest flight from Bangkok to Bangalore or Chennai, one way? Preferably flights that can be booked in short notice from bangkok.

After some calling and webbing around the cheapest return flight b'kok-b'lore booked on the net or from within india is around 25 000 rs. Single flights from india to Bangkok can be found from around 8000 rs, so does anyone have an idea about single flights from Bangkok to India? I can imagine could easily be ll a difference of a couple of thousand rs if I buy single flights in the country of departure. And I wouldn't mind spending those in a nice hotel with the Mss

Anyway, i read some words of caution here about makemytrip.com. Does anyone else have good experiences with this company? They do have some nice looking offers, but what i hear from one of our friends here is that their service is crappy...

I could be wrong, but look into Air Bhutan!

I meant Druk Air, which is Bhutan's airline. They fly BKK to Kolkata.

I've used them several times and haven't had any serious problem with them--maybe a little inconvenience once or twice, but considering the price, it wasn't bad.

Pretty old thread, but maybe this will help someone.

I have traveled to India via Bangkok 3 times now. I have used Charlie Connection just off of Khao San each time. I looked other places but always found the best prices there.

The first 2 times I went into their tiny office and got a really good deal. The last time (earlier this year, 2006) I ordered my tickets over the phone. They redirected me to a website that had my flights reserved. That time I did not think the deal was as good though. (Still happy though)

So I would recommened going into their office if you use them. The other advantage is that there are several traqvel agents in the area, so comparing prices is very easy if you don't mind doing a little walking (and careful crossing that street!).
