Perhaps the crew was not in favour of the pilots checking out the 'dosa' in pakistan.

What a crazy situation. Somebody will, no doubt, be sacked --- but will it be the person responsible, or a scapegoat?

See how intutative IM members are , truth which is coming out slowly now is very similar to their imaginations . 24 year old hostess has lodged complaint with police for molestation charges against senior Pilots. Crew member , her boy friend , was also a commercial pilot licence holder, says he went to her rescue on attempted rape in cockpit. Senior Pilot says crew member was forcibly trying to fly plane and at one time pilots tried to take plane to krachi airport, fearing hijack, to escape forced landing in some remote place.Senior pilot has also clarified blows were exchanged and all fighting took place outside cockpit in galley of airbus.Aircraft flew unmanned for some time, over Pak,when all this was happening.

Can black box or some other device could have recorded happenings inside and outside cockpit.

BTW: I do not think they serve dosas on international flights and Is karachi good place to look for some.

In that case, I put my money on it being the female crew member who gets the shove.

Why not the co-pilot who came to aid of his senior, leaving cockpit unmanned.

Movie title: The cock fight in the cockpit. (Men and testosterone over India) Why is the little room at the front of the plane even called a cockpit?

Darn good thing for automatic pilot.

At least the people up in first class got real entertainment, not some boring old movie they'd seen before.

I read that as Toblerone for a minute.

That would have been worth fighting over

Oh, Otto, you mean. I wonder if one of the crew had to re-inflate him afterwards!

Nick: Snippets of your childhood give clues to the way you are today. "Ahhh ... those blonde Scandinavian girls, if only I could swim across the North sea. Maybe I could steal a boat. Sweden's beach's buxom babes beckon."

Reminds me of: Once upon a time I worked in a bar in a military town in jolly Canada. The British Airborne regiment came to embark on an exercise a couple of days before the Canadian Airborne were to leave. Both groups ended up in the saloon, about 50 of each. There were 3 (only 3) girls who hung out looking for some action. Only 3 in the town were willing I guess. So here we were: 100 relative hardened guys filled with booze and testosterone, these girls, and stubborn military pride over who is the toughest.

When the melee broke out, the boss's wife and I hid in the large beer cooler.

A 1950s single-sex British education. I'm still trying to get over it! If I'd been at your military do, I'd probably have been trying to prove who was the most polite

Nope. Park hotel, Wainwright,Alberta. Base had a 10 mile range for testing long accurate guns. Poor Brits, they'd fly military transport, to Edmonton, then straight onto buses for the 2.5 hour ride to the base, in a rural Alberta town of about 4000 people. And sometimes that's all they'd get to see of Canada. Kind of like having a refueling stopover in Chennai on the way to Mauritius, and then saying you'd traveled to India.

Nick: I can picture little Nicky in some gawdawful not cute little uniform being looked down on by a large heavy red-faced stern man. "But I was just having a drink from the fountain, Sir."

Facts will now be hidden, whilst official investigation is under way. There is a very good chance that they may never be seen again!

The BBC reports the incident here. Pity, really, that they haven't done on of their "and now for our silly item about those funny people in India" jobs on it, or we'd be able to all turn against the BBC and forget Air India
