Advice on ticket purchase?

I've found a reasonably priced flight from Bangalore to Bangkok, with Indian Airlines.

Ideally I'd book this online, but their web site is not allowing bookings.

Would I be best booking this with a random agent, or directly with Air India at one of their office (assuming they have such things)?

Thanks

Depends. Shop around for the price, and whichever is cheaper, go for that one.

I went online and found the best deal I could (Malaysian airlines website), printed out the information and took it to my local travel agent who promises to beat any price...

hehehe.

Ahh Malaysia Airlines. The cheapest tickets to India via KL. The last two times I've been to India in 2004 and 2007 were with them.

We got our tickets for this year (peak season), $1400 AUS return each... pretty damn happy

(plus they are putting us up in a hotel in KL cos we have a 12 hour stopover)

Yeah. In 2004 they gave us a free hotel at the Pan Pacific near the Airport, and this year they shipped us off to some place 1 hour away from the airport. Some resort. You get breakfast and lunch vouchers too!Ohhhh Yeah.
