Question Wildlife

Hi!
If i leave from Mysore in the very early morning, and i want to visit wildlife park in Wayanad....where i go???
I go to Kalpetta and then from there i can take a tour??? Or already from Mysore there is a bus that brings me in some wildlife visit?

Or is better leave Mysore in the evening, reach a city, for example Kalpetta (or?), and start in the morning with a tour?

There are tour?!??!?!?

Thnaks!

Nagarhole might be a better bet, its also a lot closer to Mysore. Another member PM Velu has posted some useful info on Nagarhole and getting there, in another thread. You could contact him for more details.

Celesre,

Not sure whether you finalized your itenary as I saw Multiple threads from you on Calicut / Mahe/ Wayanad / Bangalore / Mysore and to few of your threads I added what I know !.

By the latest "Bangalore @ 5am thread " I assume you are in Bangalore OR Mysore.

Wayanad has too much to offer and if you are interested in Wildlife / Scenic Tea Plantations , you could hire a Car and visit Nagarhole NP and I am not sure about how many are there in your group OR You culd get bus to Nagarhole NP from Mysore Suburb Busstand (Bangalore - Mysore Buses end here only).

Bus Timings :

From Mysore suburb bus stand, KSRTC buses ply to Nagarhole National park @ 09:15, 12:30 & 14:30 and running time is around 3hours. You need to get down at Forest dept office for the Forest Safaris. After the Safari, you could get another bus to Kutta OR get Lift from Many a Tourist Taxis which Leaves to Kutta end. From Kutta, you could get a bus to Mananthavady (Wayanad District).

Still , best way is to hire a taxi from Mysore, Visit Nagarhole NP, Followed by Iruppu Falls (17km- Scenic location with Brahmagiri mountain Ranges in the background))and followed by a Visit to tholpetty Wildlife Sanctuaty (Just 5 kms from Kutta but in Kerala),and you can end your journey in Mananthavady (wayanad District - Kerala which is around 30 km from Tholpetty) and from there you could continue with your Original plan to South Kerala !

If you need any info, Please post !

Happy Travelling
