WiIdife august / september is anywhere open

Hi we are traveling to india for the first time and will be there Aug 27th to september 17th we are flying in and out of delhi and are planning to stay around the north of india probably rajasthan.

We would really like to see some wildlife while we are there but have found out that both Ranthambhore and Rajiji National Parks are closed for the monsoons. Has anyone any suggestions of places to go see some animals, especially tigers and elephants.

Most wildlife parks are closed from July to Early October because of the Monsoons.
In Rajasthan, the place to go is Ranthambhore, but that park is definitely not open in August. There's also Sariska, but don't waste your time if your main interest is Tigers. You won't see any in Sariska. Best time for wildlife in India is November - June

.. a part of corbett is open all the yr round..named as jhirna..a nite stay is also available..perhaps its the most disliked parts of corbett because of supposed complaints by tourists of NO TIGERS etc..But i hv been to corbett like a million times..n i hv found jhirna equally good n hv spotted tigers and lepoards there as well..

September wud b a better choice if at all u intend to visit the same. Leme me knw if u need any further assistance.
