Lucky lucky you!!
One of these days i am rushing to your place!!

A bird group friend from Bangalore also visited this place I believe. He was mentioning how the pair took turns in watching the nest and keeping guard.

It is superb!

Is this what those birds eat with those huge beaks? Or is this just something on the side?

Hornbill Watch says, "It is primarily frugivorous; eating mainly berries, drupes, and capsular fruits of primary forest species belonging to Lauraceae, Meliaceae, Annonaceae and figs (Moraceae), but also eats some animal matter."

Whenever I have watched them feeding, it has always been some fruit. Actually during courtship, the male , shown above, offers a fruit to the blue-necked female. Once the female accepts , the mating happens. A great experience that.

I wish it was that simple for us too You end with with a women or a fruit, either way, all gains, although some may dispute whether the 'left with fruit' is really any replacement for the lady.
If you find my posts confrontationist, please bear, I am an old frustrated guy who has nothing better to do than sit on rocking chair and curse the world whole day
