Regretably, there are just not enough left to make up those fantastic displays any longer.

RWeHavingFun many thanks for the video the display was amazing. Nick I saw some comments at youtube that say the birds do a lot of destruction?

The European Starling is now found extensively in North India especially in winter. I have seen large flocks in Sultanpur and Basai near Gurgaon.
And if you want to see those spectacular aerial displays, Mridula, just drive a couple of kilometers from your home to the Air Force Officer's mess near sector 14, close to sunset on a January evening. A large flock descends to the trees in the private garden of the farm house across the road to roost for the night.There would be many more places. I just happened to notice this.Another place I noticed the flocks is in the green belt along the Jaipur highway adjacent to sector 15, Gurgaon.

I think it is a warbler of some kind. Perhaps a booted warbler?
