Tom tit, blue tit, something like that; I'm no good at those birds, beautiful though they are.

Thanks Nick, did an image search for Blue Tit and it looks to be the same.

The European Starling is now found extensively in North India especially in winter. I have seen large flocks in Sultanpur and Basai near Gurgaon.
And if you want to see those spectacular aerial displays, Mridula, just drive a couple of kilometers from your home to the Air Force Officer's mess near sector 14, close to sunset on a January evening. A large flock descends to the trees in the private garden of the farm house across the road to roost for the night.There would be many more places. I just happened to notice this.Another place I noticed the flocks is in the green belt along the Jaipur highway adjacent to sector 15, Gurgaon.

It's a very pretty bird!

I think it is a warbler of some kind. Perhaps a booted warbler?
