Which bird is this?
Calling on all the bird enthusiasts (the feathered variety) please identify this bird for me. I clicked the picture at Barog, Himachal Pradesh.
It is the Red Billed Blue Magpie found mostly in a flock of 4-8.

As Hippie said, it is a red-billed blue magpie. Btw, it’s from the crow family so now you have copyright of an image of a crow.

It is a magpie (yellow billed blue) they can be seen all over the hills and are a frequent visitor to our yard in search of food that they nick from the dog's bowl! Very boisterous and noisy!

Birds, thanks a lot for the website but I guess I can still post my images here as well.
I mean I would never know how to search for a Sunbird at that excellent site!
