The private messaging option(outgoing and incoming) will be automatically activated once you reach a certain number of posts(I think its 15).

Till then you will have to ask rongon to give you the deatails in this thread itself... or you can mention your email ID(hopefully a disposable one, which you donot mind being spammed) and rongon can mail you there.

Went to the sunderban with "backpakers" www.tourdesundarbans.com mid December 2008. operate from Kolkata.
Wife and me(I?) enjoyed it but it was not a 5 star trip.
You will need a lot of luck to see a tiger.
Want more info PM me.
Best of luck

Hello Rongon,

We have booked at Sajenkhali tourist lodge for two days in september. Could you pls. guide us on
1. Best way (public transport) to reach Sajenkhali from Kolkata
2. How to move around in Sajenekhali. Our primary interest is to see the most beautiful parts of the forest and any other excellent landscapes (heard there is a island and a bird parkalso nearby). Seeing a Tiger would be a plus but not expected Using the govt. run ferries what all we can cover in the two days? A rough iternary and cost idea would be excellent

Thanks in Advance!
Alan

The Sunderban Tiger Camp caught my attention, I was checking out the website and it seems to be very good and reliable. Has anyone attended the Camp? What are your reviews. I;m planning on going during October (tiger mating season). How's the weather in the Sundarbans during this time of year?
