Tigers are being transported to Sariska, where the big cats were completely wiped out due to poaching.
A report in the Times of India, Jaipur :
Tigers may be airlifted to Sariska reserve

Jaipur: Choppers will be used to airlift the felines from Ranthambore National Park to Sariska, hoping to minimise the trauma of translocation.
The state government has sent a proposal in this regard to the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) expressing its desire to airlift the tigers from Ranthambore to Sariska where the animals will be reintroduced.
The officials have argued that a chopper ride would minimise the trauma of the animals during the shifting process. The flight to Sariska will take nearly 45 minutes against the 12-hour road journey.

This is suicide. Lack of security had contributed to the tiger's demise at Sariska. Now they're bringing in more tigers, Ranthambhore is a far safer home for these animals.

It looks like they are going to be enclosed, at least for a long introductory period. Although I have to agree with Radjesh, if the local 'problem' that brought their demise previously has not been solved or eliminated then eventually these tigers may meet the same fate from the same hands (or associates there of).

"In the first stage, the programme is to shift three tigers. We are planning it in a phased manner and the first one to be shifted would be kept in a small enclosure for some days before its release to a bigger enclosed area now getting ready at Karna Ka Bas,” Rajpal Singh told this correspondent before leaving for Ranthambhore."
