Somber But Hopeful

Hey Tiger Fans:

Here is a somber but hopeful link about tiger conversation:

Not sure however how different this is from all the rhetoric form years past. Reminder do what you can to preserve a noble animal.

I assume visiting the parks where the tigers reside is something we can do to preserve this nobel animal. Or is this assumption in err?

Nope

I personally don't think that not visting will do any help. At least with visitors it holds the government in check a bit. Without that they would have total control over the wildpark and habitat. That would be a recipe for ruin.

Visitors not only help the economy but they also serve as a safeguard. The later seems more crucial over time.

The only caveat is that we should be responsible visitors. I for one will never stop going to national parks. I am also trying to network with conservation groups to see how we might expand educational opportunities. This also seems to be the key: educate visitors and also locals as to the value of preserving the habitat and wildlife. At least that is my own area of interest. There is so much people can do based on their interest and passion for wildlife. Get involved might be the key.

Certainly, the article is spot on. It sure needs strong political will to save this beautiful animal.

Daniel, I fully agree with you that by visiting the parks we can contribute towards the economy and keep the caretakers under check.

However, if you have any idea wherein all the members can contribute in their own ways, you're most welcome to share your views.
