Ranthambore National Park Booking

Hi all! I'm planning to go to Ranthambore NP in November (11th, right after Diwali) and I know i have to book via the rajasthan tourism website. I've checked before, and the online booking was working then. But when I went on again recently, it said it was down "temporarily". Wonder if anyone has any info on when it'll be back up and if there's any alternatives to booking online??

Booking is open again now, but I tried twice and my payment did not go through. This was with a VISA card. I have successfully booked in the past, but they have changed the procedure slightly. Anyone having more luck???

I've done it!!!

But honestly, this is worse than IRCTC. Of course I first managed to pay without getting a reservation and I'm wondering if and when they will transfer the money back.....

Of course you need the passport number of each and every member of the part. Of course you will have to decide what to write in the field "father's name" - just as it used to be. But now you will have to enter your credit card information twice. You will also have to correct your address now and then. A credit card which was fine just a moment ago might not be accepted a second time. You will be led from Rajasthantourism to Infosys to Paypal, but to get back you now have to hit the orange bar. If you are in a non-english-speaking country, there will be two orange bars...

I survived, but barely so.

Reason: just found a mail that Paypal has voided the incomplete transaction, so no more worry.
