Rajaji National Park: Walking Safari Partner Sought...

Hey,

I have approached a local tour operator about doing a walking safari in Rajaji National Park (an hour from Hardiwar).

It's cheaper if the costs are shared by more than one person...so I'm wondering if anybody would be interested in joining me on: 17/18 or 20th March 2012 for this?

(Option B) We travel to a Gujjar Tribal village. The Gujjar Tribal people live a simple life tending to buffallos in the forest. They are one of the few tribes that have resisted changes enforced by the twentieth Century. It is a great opportunity to experience Gujjar tribal living in simple clay huts. The privilege of this experience should compensate for any discomfort. Later we hike through the valley crossing fresh water streams. Wildlife such as Elephants, Gorals( mountain goats), spotted deer, can be sighted during this tour. Along with many different species of birds.Back to Hardwar.
Cost : Rs. 1950/- per person (min. 2 pax)
Rs. 2300/- single pax
Cost includes : Pick up from office at Hardwar, entry fee to park, experienced guide/driver & drop back to office.
Essentials : Sunscreen lotion, mineral water, hat, sun glasses, cotton Tshirt, shorts/pants & rafting sandals.
Time Duration : 5 hours
